Prayer
God
answers prayer. Even
when we are late getting the request to God. God
answers prayer. Even when, inside our
hearts, we are inclined to doubt. God answers
prayer. Even when our eyes are tired and our
hearts are heavy. God answers prayer.
Even if it has been a while since God heard our voice.
God answers prayer. Even if we don’t
understand why God answers the way God does. God
answers prayer. As sons and daughters…
God answers prayer. As brothers and
sisters… God answers prayer.
As fathers and mothers… God
answers prayer. As those who lift others…
God answers prayer. So…pray.
Answered Prayer
It has been a very interesting couple of weeks. As many of you will undoubtedly know, we had been urged to pray for
Pfc. Robert Terry on Mother's Day. He had been reported missing in Iraq. We prayed urgently for his saftey
and were so relieved to here that he had rejoined his battalion. We are grateful even as we continue to lift him up
in prayer over his tour of duty.
We have also been praying for Leonard Madigan. Mr Madigan is still in ICU
in Virtua Hospital, Voorhees. Please continue to pray for him!
Mr. Madigan is also a WWII vet.
He served aboard a submarine as a cook in the Navy. This Memorial Day we give thanks to God for the service to our country
that has been registered by Mr. Madigan as well as so many who have given their lives in service.
