Youth Group

GUMC Youth Group is a student group for 6th-12th graders with the purpose of creating a solid foundation in the Bible, promoting values and help build life-long friendships.

Our youth group is a ministry of students instead of a ministry to students.  All are welcome, you do not have to be a Christian to attend; church is a place to come and learn about faith even if we are not sure what that faith is yet.

Youth Bible Study is Wednesday nights 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Youth Group meets Sunday evenings 6:30pm - 8:00pm
(Youth Group meets every Wednesday and Sunday unless stated below in the calendar)

In addition to our regular meetings, we hold special events like retreats, mission trips, lock-ins, Youth lunches, pool parties, movie nights, community service events, etc.

Each summer many youth members attend Delanco Camp.

Our 2015 Goals

This year (2015) the group has established a list of goals they wish to achieve. First the group hopes to engage in numerous social activities ranging from bonfires, pumpkin picking and a Christmas Party. Additionally, the group wants to establish a relationship with the "feed my sheep" ministry that is run once a month in Camden.

Through the year is young, our group has seen an influx of young kids full of energy! We are looking forward to growing together as brothers and sisters of Christ and cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us & Gibbous UMC. Please keep us in your prayers!
